Originally from Romania, Bucharest, artist Tudor Gradinaru studied at Biola University in California where he got his Master of Arts degree. Also, he holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctor degree from Western Seminary, Portland, Oregon.
A lover of beauty and nature, Tudor travels all over the world, discovering new places and new faces. His work was shown in Europe in many galleries and expositions. Presently he makes his home in Seattle, Washington enjoying life in the Northwest.
In his art Tudor created a self-taught form and style of painting that enhances the very expression of abstractionism.
Not satisfied with traditional colors he is combining organic, exotic pigments and minerals with different kinds of medium such as oil based polymer. This gives the paintings originality, a sense of depth, movement, vividness, brilliance on the light traveled layers of colors.
A poet, sculptor and a painter, Tudor is known by his variety of tastes and styles and unique way of blending colors.
His brilliant multi-dimensional interpretations cast beams of light and colors that open the door of imagination. In this way he can create symphonies of radience that not only enchant the eyes but also stimulate your intelect and lift your soul, taking you to the mystery and beyond.
Tudor's paintings create passionate, warm, expressive and mystical spirituality. A flow of life and energy leads the viewer on paths of contemplation to another world. A world of peace and harmony... beauty and mystery... an unknown, better world that we all long for...
A romantic and dreamer, always fascinated by beauty, Tudor wants to capture in his paintings the sublime and bring some rays of hope from the celestial world. In this way life can be more enjoyable. His goal in life is to love and to be loved in return!
